Whomever this NARFSTAR is, he/she is fantastic! The scans are perfect and capture the multicolored pages of Capa Alpha in spectacular fashion. Capa Alpha was originally printed using a mixture of mimeograph and ditto (aka spirit duplicator) processes, which are difficult to scan in a readable fashion. But NARFSTAR scanned everything beautifully, even taking out the staples (all 20 issues were SIDE-STAPLED) to assist in the flawless reproduction. Thanks so much for taking the time!!!

For one who was active in comics fandom in the mid-sixties, but never a member of the exclusive Kapa-alpha group, these mailings are a delight to read. "Time-bending" and "mind-bending" are two descriptions which come to mind. The excellent scanning is also worth a mention; mixed mimeo and ditto reproduction requires a care on the part of the scanner. Steve
