Additional Information

PublicationOctober 1953 | Price: 0.10 USD | Pages: 1 | Frequency: Bi-Monthly
NotesPencils credited in part to Reed Crandall by Saltarella: "Looks like several artists worked on this cover - the center of the page with most of T-Man's face and especially his swinging arm and the face and upper torso (including the left hand) of the person he is striking is Reed Crandall work (with some alterations at the edges). The rest is not him. The non-Crandall figures remind me of whoever was doing Quality's GI Combat covers at around this same time." Reed Crandall expert Roger Hill thinks instead the penciler swiped a Crandall figure.

NotesZolne can be spotted by his figures with long upper body and a peculiar shuffling, slow way of walking, like on page 7. Also long narrow heads in side view. Compare with his signed "Captain Terry Thunder" story in Jungle Comics #107, and Iron Lady in Airboy Comics #36. Inking uncertain. Final appearance in Police Comics. T-Man has its own comic book (T-Man (Quality Comics, 1951 Series)), which will continue into 1956.

Comic StoryThe Haunted Cop (5 pages)
SynopsisNo matter how good a police job Pete Cannon did, everybody compared him to his father, who was an even better cop.
ContentGenre: Detective-mystery | Characters: Pete Cannon (cop); Paul Ferris (crooked truck owner)
NotesClose up faces in side view with small bags under the eye and a half smiling mouth is very like his credited stories in Adventures into the Unknown #25 and #164. He worked for Quality at this time. Uncertain inking.
