The first story "Invaders from a Lost Galaxy" is surprisingly good for such a vintage comic book. It very much captures the flavor of the pulp SF stories about galactic empires.

SynopsisSirion, an outer planet, is ruled by King Stephan. King Stephan's younger brother, Karnock, makes plans to usurp the throne while the King is away battling alien invasion. Stephan sends Space Admiral Jon Lasim to investigate. Lasim falls for Stephan's daughter and is hunted by the despotic Karnock.

NotesThis is positively Cameron on pencils, probably inked by Mastroserio (as was the case in Ace's horror books first half of 1952). This whole issue seems to be a Cameron-Mastroserio collaboration. Previous indexer stated: Overstreet says Lou Cameron art in this issue, but I only see it (maybe) in a few panels in this story.
