Artists like Jim Tyer interested me in this title to start with, but Allan Hubbard‘s work on The Impulsive Imps here highlights it as something special even further. He definitely gives it more of a fantastically magical feeling by taking advantage of comic books being a visual medium rather than just making it out to be a straightforward gag.
