A lot of interesting stuff going on in this comic all around, with Ray Willner‘s art in particular to me feeling like a combination of Chad Grothkopf and Ellis Chambers’ art styles.

Page 67. 'One of your comic stories ............... has been judged first prize winner in our recently completed war bond contest among comic books.' And the artist [Vic Pasmino ?] wins $100 worth of war bond stamps. Fascinating. Getting kids to buy War bond stamps. The Judges:- 'Gilbert Seldes, Al Capp, Ed Reed and William A. Smith' Al Capp we know, but can anyone identify the other three? And what do we know about Vic Pazmino?
