Wow! That first story is very close to something that really happened. I saw a YouTube video that told the story of a scientist who attempted to raise a baby chimp as a human and sibling to his toddler daughter. He was basically using his own family as guinea pigs along with the poor chimp. Fortunately, the chimp didn't eat anyone's face off.
This story also seems insulting that the scientist in the story thought raising a chimp as a human would be a natural progression from raising an African native boy from the Congo as an educated American child.
