There is an editorial letter from Uncle Joe in which he discusses a publication called The Weekly Torch, published by one of his readers, and also a publication brought in by one of his artists called Scienti-Tales, published by John Giunta and Louis Maurino. There is a small ad from the Acme Fireworks Corporation, asking readers to send for their fireworks catalog. There is a very small ad from Club Photo Service in regards to developing photos. There is also an ad from Centaur Publications for two books titled "The Lone Ranger" and "The Lone Ranger and the Mystery Ranch", as well as two new books "The Lone Ranger and the Gold Robbery" and "The Lone Ranger and the Texas Renegades". There is an illustrated promo from the publisher for the July, 1939 issue of Keen Detective Funnies, featuring a new character called the Masked Marvel (head view shown). |
