| The Bird Man story reads almost like a documentary. I keep imagining Werner Herzog narrating it with Aguirre I Lacrime di Rei playing in the background. |

| The "Typhon" story is a real gem, about fire-breathing mermen (breathing fire underwater, a nice trick), most of whom can only say "Ha!" repeatedly. This is like a Fletcher Hanks story drawn by somebody else. |

| Great Lou Fine Cover. How many iconic villain cliches are on this cover? Not surprisingly, it has nothing in common with any of the inside stories. Would make a great T-shirt!

Now safe, Glenda tells Thor that she is heading for France to warn them of a surprise attack on Paris. |
