Hard to believe they printed this racy looking heroine back then. Woman is very similar to D.C.'s 'The Huntress' in costume and determination, quickly becoming a new favorite.

Auburn-haired Black Cat could soon become a favourite of mine. The Circus Vandals has some evil clowns who kidnap Cat’s boyfriend, Rick Horne. Will Cat (in a black mask so she won’t be recognised) save the day and defeat the wicked Dr Zant? Read it and see. (Safety tip: Never eat a dead clown – they taste funny) Mr Zero has Cat facing up to a Fagin-like character and his sidekick in a neo-classical garden. Full marks to Lee Elias’ pencils on this one – Cat looks terrific. In the Fighting Bulls, Cat is in Mexico taking part in a jinxed bullfight movie when she uncovers a plot from a piqued matador to take revenge on the production. In a thrilling final corrida, our muleta-clad matadora faces down the torrid toreador – but who will prevail in this tauromachian tussle?
