Two bacteriologists create a new deadly form of bacteria. When one of the scientists wants to destroy the abomination, the other has him killed. Realizing that as the creator he can control the bacteria, he sends the growing mass out to destroy and consume everything in its path.
A doctor learns the secret of entering the minds of people from a dying mystic. When he attempts to prove this to his colleagues, he enters the mind of a homicidal maniac and is almost killed by his evil thoughts. After the demonstration, the doctor realizes how dangerous entering the minds of men is and refuses to make the secret known to anyone.
