A great childhood memory. As I recall, Charlton originally released this in 1960. The original release depicted President Eisenhower. This was altered in the '62 re-release to show a Nixon/Kennedy hybrid. Despite the substandard printing, bleed-through, and typeset lettering, the genius of Steve Ditko is evident here-2 years before Spider-man. |
