SynopsisKing Richard is away from England, fighting the Crusades, when he gets word that Prince John has usurped the throne. Lord Robert of Huntington offers to return home and rally the King's loyal subjects, but he finds that his estate has been confiscated and given to an ally of the Prince, and he's declared an outlaw. Retreating to Sherwood Forest, Lord Robert takes the name of Robin Hood and gathers his Merry Men to oppose Prince John. When he learns that his childhood friend Maid Marian is being forced into marriage, he leads the Merry Men on their first mission to rescue her.
