This issue contains the first three Spirit stories I ever read! Nostalgia attack!

Kingcat--I almost didn't connect with The Spirit because the first Spirit comic I read was an IW reprint of very mainstream non-Eisner stories. Jules Feiffer had raved about The Spirit in "The Great Comic Book Heroes" and the sample he printed was cool, but when I saw the IW book I thought, "THIS is what he was so crazy about?" But a little while the Harvey 25c books appeared. Ka-Boom!

Hi crash. Read these three stories all in the same mag, I think another IW reprint, and also had to wait for the Harvey version to be reunited with the character. Well worth the wait though!
