Treasure Chest was a staple of Catholic schools in the U.S. from the 19403 through 1972. Each issue had episodes of multi-part series, providing storylines that focussed on values such as honesty, integrity, the value of hard work, and the importance of family and friends. Creators included Reed Crandall, Bernard Bailey, Jim Mooney, and Bob Powell. The magazine was published every two weeks.
