Published by Fox, 1947, the first of two issues labeled #7. Reads "Jo-Jo Congo King" on the cover but "Jo-Jo Comics" in the indicia. Complete paper scan, cover to cover including ads and text pages. Features two stories of Jo-Jo the Congo King, one story of Bronze Man, and the second/final appearance of the Purple Tigress (her one previous appearance was in All Good Comics, 1944) |
|
Fun jungle antics, followed by oddball backup features Bronze Man and Purple Tigress, which is the highlight. I'm disappointed to hear she made only two appearances. I love bored society girl alter ego and her three louche boyfriends that follow her everywhere. |
