| The story 'I Lived a Lie' had some real depth not often found in vintage comic books. It felt more like an old movie than a comic strip and the fundamental message is just as relevant now as it was back then. There are huge parallels between this and Elvis in Jailhouse Rock; both characters got swept away by their own fame and turned away the loved ones that really matter, only to find that Hollywood people are fair-weather friends. Great little read. |
