Synopsis | Under the name “Nita Gomez,” Nancy becomes a popular movie star known for her tempestuous behaviour off-screen. She falls in love with tennis player Jimmy, and he becomes her co-star. One night, Jimmy’s car hits an old man; Nancy takes the blame and is suspended from acting for two years. She discovers Jimmy is romancing his new co-star. Nancy returns to Hoboken, New Jersey. Studio boss Bill says the accident victim identified Jimmy as the driver, so she can come back to work. Bill also says he loves her. |
