While I acknowledge the efforts of 'paw broon', it's a pity about these posts. They show three of the covers of the six issues produced by the Amalgamated Press in London for sale in Australia between 1949 and 1950, but not in order, and they don't show the original contents. What we get instead is the small selecton of those strips that were reprinted in "Knockout" annuals in the late '50s and early '60s. It would be nice if someone could post all the Australian AP titles, including "Buck Jones" and "Kit Carson". I'd especially like to see "Captain Flame" (Aug 1949), with Eric R Parker's version of the pirate-hunter. Is there nobody from the Land of Oz with copies to post ? (Anyone curious about these comics should consult "The Thriller Libraries" by David Ashford & Steve Holland, London 2010 pp 41-58)
