Straight Arrow has put out signs for Tioga to follow, but Bluecloud changes the signs so that she can spend more time with Straight Arrow. While Tioga is off the real trail, he sees a large party of Crow indians attacking Straight Arrow and Bluecloud. Bluecloud manages to escape and gives the message that Straight Arrow has been taken prisoner, to Raven Feather. Raven Feather ignores this with the idea that with Straight Arrow out of the way, he'll be able to become Bluecloud's suitor. Tioga and Straight Arrow are able to escape the Crows with the help of Fury. Raven Feather then gets bashed.
