What a weird book! It's a tremendous treat to see a whole Everett Raymond Kinstler story--but I find it amazing that comics went to press with censored text just ripped out and nothing in its place. It's like reading a redacted CIA document. And the Joe Louis story (in a book called Wild Bill Hickock?) jumping back and forth from Leroy lettering to hand lettering--and a panel on the first page that has the young Louis saying to a mustached man in a suit, "Anything else, Mom?" Bizarre!
This edited pre-code story has it's title changed from "The Killers of Eagle Ridge", edited panels have word balloons and captions changed. Some panels including splash printed in b/w.
