Am I wrong or is 'COMICS' on the cover title, in the same font as 'Walt Disney's comics and stories'?
   By SuperScrounge
Similar, but not exact https://www.comics.org/issue/1482/cover/4/ Oddly enough the covers of WDCAS started shrinking the size of the word Comics on their covers in 1949 making Walt Disney the more prominent part of the title.

This is weird. I'm sure Miss Sunbeam's heads were drawn by another artist and pasted in. No doubt the client asked for this; he wanted her to look as much as possible like the girl on the bread wrapper. Unfortunately the extra detail, especially on the hair, calls attention to the fact that Miss S's head is often too big or its angle doesn't match the body's pose. Such is the world of sponsored comics!

I didn’t think I was going to like this but found that I did – not least because as a child, the kids in our street used to make those tin-can telephones (from welfare milk tins). They were surprisingly effective and provided you kept the string taut could be used up to 20-30 metres. Sunbeam is cute, the characters well-developed, the graphics reliable and the stories were actually pretty good. We didn’t have Sunbeam bread in the UK as far as I’m aware (though perhaps Sunblest was related in some way?)
