This stuff is hilarious, and I can't believe it wasn't deliberate.
We have 'the Grenade' whose brother was killed by having a grenade thrown at him. He becomes an Avenger who ( you guessed it) throws grenades at Nazis.
Dialogue ' I believe your brother met with the evil work of Nazi-killers who apparently were after something'
Henry C. Kiefer, going under 'Trace R Bullet' gives us ROCK RAYMOND who takes on 'the Plutonian Idiots' and no I didn't make that up.
'Rock is bound and taken before Morono, King of the plutonium idiots.'
Dialogue, ' I may be only an idiot but........'
It gets better but i won't spoil it.
It just has to be a deliberate dig at Flash Gordon. |
