Although obviously inspired by the Joker, the Clown is much more evil like what the Joker would become in the 70s and 80s than what he was like in the 40s. Even this idea of adopting a gorilla as partner in crime is something the Joker didn't come around to until much later. Interesting. |

Synopsis | Convinced that their avowed enemy, the Clown, is dead, Magno and Davey decide to take in the local circus. Meanwhile, in his underground laboratory beneath a cemetery, the Clown is very hard at work and decides to visit the circus in order to see a killer ape that has been stricken with epamonia, a rare jungle malady. Creating a diversion, the Clown kidnaps the beast in order to draw his blood and attempt to create a serum of death to humans as part of his mad plan to rule America. |
