the artwork is especially good in this book, |
|
So so romance comic with repetitive stories, characters and themes. The girls easily get misconceptions about the boys and then get sad and moody until the boy reveals the truth, which turns out to be just what the girl was hoping for all along. The art not bad, but claustrophobic with the majority of panels medium shots and close ups and no backgrounds to spread the atmosphere. Some good looking people, especially the female characters, but some of the misaligned color registry gives two of the women inflatable sex doll mouths.
Question: What’s with some of these vintage romance comics having full page ads for men’s bodybuilding advice and training courses? Who were the intended readers for these comics? |
