Synopsis | Joyce has a crush on Don but he isn’t interested in her. She rejects Tommy’s love. When Don goes into the service, she writes to him frequently, and tells her friends they’re “practically engaged!” Don returns with a British wife, Madge, and Joyce decides to break them up. She arranges for Madge to think she and Don are having an affair, but he forces Joyce to confess the truth. Tommy makes Joyce admit she’s been lying and he says he still loves her; she agrees to change. |
