Some anomalies in the colouring in this issue: P.12 features a Spirit garbed in yellow instead of blue, and the central character's hair changes from blond on P.8 to black on P.9. |

Of the 50s ghosts I've been seeing in this series, I have to say I like Al Wenzel the best so far. Even when he doesn't look like Eisner, his work has a cartoony vitality that keeps me interested.
For a couple of minutes, I thought this might be the Wenzel who drew a thousand pretty girl cartoons (and memorably so), but that was Bill Wenzel. |
