This book contains several Brenda Starr Comics, plus a Steve Ayers comic. The Brenda ones were interesting. She had to put up with chauvinistic colleagues at the newspaper office, and stood up to them with sass so she could have a chance at getting a great story for the paper. Unfortunately, the last Brenda comic finishes on a cliffhanger, so we don't know how it ends. Better than the 1963 comic that was included elsewhere on this site. This one showed more of her as a reporter. Also, I appreciate that some comics of this era aren't as polished, but this has some of the worst lettering I've ever seen.
