The giveaway is - that's a swing, not a punch. There was something in his hand in the original.
A Hammer? Was this an early version of Thor from Kirby? The wings on the Helmet are generic Kirby too.
I don't think its a swipe, itts too good, More like a copy. it may have been lifted wholes from somewhere else. |

If you ignore the wings on the helmet, it kind of looks like DC Comics' Guardian from Simon & Kirby's Newsboy Legion, so either an unused Guardian sketch with wings added and shield removed, or a tracing of an interior drawing since I couldn't find a cover with Guardian looking like that at the GCD. |
