Four years later, newly-divorced Todd returns for a visit and Marion offers to divorce Les and marry him. Todd says “we couldn’t build a happy life based on someone else’s misery,” and Marion later learns he’s already engaged to Cynthia. Marion confesses all to Les and he forgives her. |
