"Teeny" isn't much like Archie. It's not about a boy, and the art reminds me of "Penny" in some ways (but not all!) and "Candy" in some ways (they both did stylized mouths that often favored a particular angle).
Her boyfriend barely figures in the story. Apart from being a doormat, he doesn't remind me of Ted, from the Candy comics. I saw selected Penny strips in copies of AMERICAN GIRL that my sisters had, and maybe they left those strips out.
