| Additional Information | |
| Name | Jack-in-the-Box Comics 12 | Published |
| Publication | Price: 0.10 USD | Pages: 52 | Frequency: bi-monthly |
| Cover | 1 page |
| Feature | Krazy Krow ? |
| Genre | Anthropomorphic-funny Animals |
| Notes | Given the presence of several Timely comic strips in this issue, I wonder if the cover is also a Timely "left-over" from Krazy Krow Comics? |
| Cartoon | No Title (1 page) |
| Feature | Anybody's Guess! |
| Genre | Non-fiction |
| First Line | My address is Brooklyn |
| Notes | Inside front cover. |
| Comic Story | No Title (7 pages) |
| Feature | Tubby Pig |
| Genre | Humor; Anthropomorphic-funny Animals |
| First Line | I think we eluded the wolf's trap! |
| Notes | This story mentions a "Black Market" which was a wartime concept (due to rationing). The fact that this appears in a comic dated December 1946 suggests it was left-over inventory, probably from Timely/Marvel comics, where the character had also appeared. |
| Story | Joe Blow (6 pages) |
| Inks | Hal Chambers [as HC] |
| Genre | Humor |
| Pencils | Ellis Chambers (signed) |
| First Line | Excuse me--but I can't let you have that safe |

| Genre | Sports |
| Story | Squat Car Squad (7 pages) |
| Genre | Humor |
| Pencils | Joe Beck |
| Inks | Joe Beck ? |
| First Line | What's Super Rabbit got that I ain't got? |
| Notes | The artwork here has a considerably finer line than Beck's mid-'40s work on Chesler titles, many of which were inked by Otto Eppers. Bails credits Beck with both pen/ink on this feature. The reference to "Super Rabbit" and a "Buy Bonds" sign in one panel suggest (a) this was originally intended for Timely/Marvel ("Squat Car Squad" appeared in Joker and Gay Comics for that publisher), and (b) that it is old inventory (left over from war-time). |
| Comic Story | Bumbling the Bee (2 pages) |
| Genre | Anthropomorphic-funny Animals |

| Comic Story | How to Make a Machine-Gun (2 pages) |
