Synopsis | Gale, a shill for Danny’s rigged carnival games, encourages Harry to play and lose money, then confesses her complicity to him. They fall in love. Gale convinces Danny to allow Harry to win the next evening, since Harry needs money to finance his research. Harry proposes to Gale but his ex-girlfriend Renee exposes Gale’s poverty-stricken past. Harry doesn't care but Gale thinks she’s been the butt of a joke. She causes Harry to lose his money at Danny’s game. Gale tries to force Danny to return the cash but he shoots her instead. Danny is arrested and Harry and Gale reconcile. |

Lisa recovers the tapes from the gang at the risk of her own life, and hopes some day Frank will forgive her. |

But things work out for the best: Glen falls in love with Laura’s sister Helen, and there is a double wedding. |
