| Synopsis | Tony Martin gets Tina a job as singer Ricky’s arranger. Ricky is abrasive and secretive, confiding only in his accompanist Jerry. Tina discovers Ricky just lip-syncs, and Jerry does the actual singing. Jerry explains to Tina that he has terrible stage fright and can’t sing in public. Tina goes to Tony Martin for help: on Ricky’s next show, the cameras suddenly focus on Jerry and Tina urges him to sing to her. His stage fright is cured. Jerry now has a new career and will marry Tina. |

Tabby doesn’t have any available employees, so she fills both roles herself. At the dinner, she becomes jealous of Scoople’s attractive daughter Diane. Afterwards, Bill admits Diane helped him set up the appointment but she’s engaged to someone else: Bill proposes to Tabby. |
