Captain Battle's reporter friend Kelly states at the end of the story that he wants the Captain to tell him who he is, and he is depicted at the end of the story in civilian clothes claiming that he slept through the presentation. Since the Captain does not wear a mask and uses only the one identity, Anthony Durrant suggests this story was meant to feature a different character who was replaced by Captain Battle. |
