Penny substitutes a photo of herself for Gail in a contest entry and Gail loses as a result: but this prevents her from eloping with Greg and going to Hollywood, so it’s a good thing. Bob figures it out and says he loves Penny as she is.

He’s asked to fly a doctor to the scene of an airliner crash and discovers Eileen is there. She says Steve didn’t die, and is recovering in a sanatorium. Bart and Eileen reconcile.
