Contrary to my expectations, the Secret Society of the Scarlet Star is not about a hidden communist cell spreading sedition at Cliff House, more's the pity, but is still a jolly good romp none the less.
How come Bessie Bunter never gets invited to join the secret society in any of these stories? Unless....but, no...that's a secret best left unsaid.
