Dr. Weir accuses Baron Latro of killing him out of jealousy. The Countess Arachni manages to steal the Purple Claw from him. When Weir travels to her castle he is caught in a web. The Countess rescues him by killing Baron Latro in his spider form and taking Dr. Weir to her castle. Because he knows too much the Countess also transforms into a giant spider. He recovers the Purple Claw to defeat the Countess. |
