While David is away, Helen dates new doctor Bob to determine if she really loves David. She informs David and he is jealous. When Bob is injured in a skiing accident, David operates and saves him from a lifetime of paralysis. Helen reconciles with David, realising he’s the one she’s loved all along.

SynopsisAfter graduating from high school, Mary goes to live at the logging camp where her father is the supervisor. All of the lumbermen are attracted to her, and Mary agrees to date Neil, despite his reputation as a drinker and spendthrift. Neil promises to reform, but when he later stands her up, Mary goes to a dance with Clem. Neil appears and hits Clem, causing Mary to break up with him. She accepts Clem’s marriage proposal. However, when Neil later risks his life to save Clem, Clem steps aside and Mary realises she does love Neil.
