Fred sees her photo in the newspaper and contacts her: she’s been charged with stealing money from him but he’ll drop the charges if she marries him. The real culprit was another waitress, Laura, who was jealous. When this comes out, Steve reaffirms his love for Gail. |

However, he shows up and they decide to go back to their small town so he can be happy. |

| Synopsis | Leila works in a nightclub kitchen but is given a role in the floor show by owner Kip to spite his girlfriend Myra. Leila is a hit and Kip proposes to her. However, while he’s away, Leila dates wealthy Anthony and he also asks her to marry him. Kip and Leila break up, but when Leila and Anthony visit Mexico, she learns he never intended to marry her. She’s reduced to working in a sleazy club there, falls ill, and telegraphs Kip for help. Kip flies her back to the USA. When she recovers, she agrees to marry him and return to performing in his club. |
