Chose this from Randon12. I particularly liked the artist on Jill Crusoe (RB Davis?) – also I learned that only seabirds eat fish, I never knew that.
Mystery Member of the Circus was fun – but then I’ve always liked circus stories. I was once a tightrope walker in a circus – well, it was a steady job. My friend was the stilt walker – I always looked up to him. Did you hear about the strongman who ran off with the circus? They made him bring it back.
I enjoyed Dilly Dreem because I live near the White Horse on the Downs in Sussex – and that teahouse where they end up is – I’m prepared to bet – modelled on the one that’s still there in Alfriston. Next fine day, I shall follow in Dilly’s footsteps a have a cream tea there.
Princess Anita was beautifully drawn but Terry Brent – Detective was more up my street – surprising that this was never picked up for a TV show – it has all the ingredients. I wonder who the artist was – the pencils are sublime.

Yes, the artist on Jill Crusoe is Reginald Ben Davis. He seems to have drawn all the Jill Crusoe stories...very nice work.
