NotesA rare newspaper strip featuring the lady detective, Lesley Shane, from a British newspaper in the 1950's. Art by Oliver Passingham. There were a series of Lesley Shane comics in the Detective Picture Library series in the U.K. in the 50's but they were cut and pasted from newspaper strips, a process made worse by the Library being digest sized. The comics are collectable and not easy to find, even at inflated prices. Thanks to Steve at Bear Alley for permission to repost here.
