I can read Spain Spanish and have very little difficulty reading this comic. Nevertheless, the lettering took some getting used to. Very entertaining story line.

I speak Spanish every day. I have even taught beginners. But this, "Spain only Spanish" is full of "vos, os, vosotros" and toooo many words are hyphenated. No thought given to the size of the "speech bubble." AND, who wants to read a black and white comic? Whoever copied these titles for Comicbooksplus should pay attention to the actual spelling. Caballero ! Peligro!

Interesting if odd comment. This tebeo was written, drawn and produced in Spain in the '50's. and other Spanish readers don't share your views on the Spanish used. Anyway, B&W comics can be as beautiful as those in various colours. As for choosing the book for CB+ it was sourced and scanned by 2 highly respected Spanish aficionados. Many readers and collectors embrace both colour and B&W. The illustrated world would be poorer without Alvar Mayor, Rick Random, Corto Maltese, Blackshirt and so many more, yet would that world be any poorer if certain Charlton romance comics didn't exist? Please start a conversation on this and your objections, politely, as I think a lot of us would be interested. Could be fun Spelling fixed - Caballero. You know, mistakes happen.

I was interested to learn that this series was drawn by Joan Rafart Roldán, who under the signature "Raf" had an illustrious career as a humorous artist. According to his bio at Tebeosfera, during this period Roldán moved back and forth between realistic and humorous styles depending on what the publisher needed. He certainly was a capable realistic artist, but his true calling was humor. Not only did he draw for the Spanish market, he also worked for foreign publishers through the Bardon agency. In the early 1960s his work appeared in Fleetway mags like "Buster" and "Film Fun." Tebeosfera says his favorite British series was about "an incompetent person named Elmer" scripted by Ron Clark.
