Ellsworth is swayed by Linda’s family money, but he goes back to Mary when Linda’s father is wiped out in the stock market. Linda goes to work as a waitress. Her father’s working class friends rally around and Linda reunites with Sam. |

He’s soon treating rich women with nonexistent illnesses. When a patient experiences a crisis, Vicky finds Jim having dinner with Pamela at a swanky restaurant and asks for help. Jim responds but Pamela is irate. Jim saves the patient and gladly returns to City Hospital. |
