A week before the big fight, Jimmy discovers Lefty is really a boxer named Lucky who'd lost his license and had plastic surgery; he plans to throw the match to pay off the mob. Jimmy knocks out Lefty/Lucky and substitutes for him in the ring. Jimmy wins the title and is reunited with Betty. |

Burt shows up at Dana's apartment unexpectedly and Ron catches them together; Burt is accidentally injured when he and Ron fight. The scandal costs Dana her job. She goes back home, but Ron follows and says he now knows she didn't invite Burt to her apartment. Dana and Ron will marry. |

When a fire breaks out at the circus, Lola returns and rescues Tim and her younger brother Ronnie. Tim and Lola reconcile. |
