Synopsis | Law professor Marcia agrees to marry stuffy Dean Monroe, although he is 20 years older than she is. Former Korean War POW Pete enrolls as a student and Marcia falls in love with him. Marcia overhears Monroe threatening to ruin Pete’s future if he doesn’t dump Marcia, so she breaks up with Pete for his own good. She then discovers Monroe is giving Pete failing grades anyway. She informs the president of the school. Monroe is removed from his post and Marcia and Pete can be together. |

Synopsis | Patti is engaged to Johnny; he leaves on a business trip and she agrees to escort his former Army buddy Gordon around town. Gordon feels ill and while they are waiting for a doctor, Gordon’s wife and some private detectives catch him and Patti in his hotel room. A newspaper falsely reports it as a "love nest" scandal and Johnny breaks their engagement. Patti discovers jealous reporter June wrote the misleading story; so does Johnny, and he reconciles with Patti. |

Synopsis | Linda’s boyfriend Rod moves to Chicago to become an actor. She agrees to wait for him as long as it takes. Rod becomes famous and marries someone else. Linda marries lawyer Howard on the rebound, even though she still loves Rod. Five years pass, and Linda and Howard have a son. Rod comes home and tells Linda he’s divorced. They have an affair and Linda decides to leave her husband for him, but discovers Rod considers her “just another little tramp.” Linda returns to Howard and he admits he knew about her affair, but wanted to let her get Howard “out of your system.” They reconcile. |
