Synopsis
Duff Gregor camps with Silvertip and both men notice how much they look alike. Gregor later meets up with Barry Christian, Silvertip's greatest enemy, and the pair come up with a plan where Gregor will disguise himself as Silvertip and fool the people of Crow's Nest before robbing their bank. Silvertip then rides into town, not knowing what has happened, and gets a hostile reception.

Based on the 1933 story "The False Rider" by Max Brand. Pencils and inks credits for this sequence from Alberto Becattini (May 14, 2007). A sort of sequel to this story is in Silvertip Four Color #898, when the ending scenes of this story become the beginning scenes of that one. Duff Gregor returns, but Silvertip's arch-enemy is called Sam Fisk, not Barry Christian.
