Synopsis
While returning to the town of Buckskin, Annie O'Connell and her son Jody are passengers on a stage that is robbed outside of town. Later a stranger checks in at the hotel and one of the stage passengers is sure he is one of the robbers and has him arrested. The real gang learns of the arrest and frames the jailed man by throwing a note in the jail window. Jody follows the note-thrower to a shack near town, then takes the Marshal there to capture the gang.

Jim Dawson sends Marshal Sellers a telegram telling him that he is coming to break his brother out of the Buckskin jail. The Marshal and the townspeople prepare for Jim Dawson's arrival; but instead of going to town, Dawson goes to the school outside of town with the intention of holding the students hostage for his brother's release. Jody comes up with a plan and the students overpower the three outlaws.
