NotesAfter 8 years, the last & final 'superhero' issue, although the only costumed-hero strip left is Yank, Doodle & Black Owl. Frankie continued on for a few more years in his own title, but most of the other regular strips had been dropped over the previous few issues. The lead story is a Western, a preparation for the conversion to all-Westerns in #69. A freddyfly original!

@Superman - Wouldn’t be surprised if he drew the cover too. Palais was always keen on conveying nervousness through sweat and misty atmospheres, as well as expressive faces. I’d still be inclined to research more just to make sure though.
