Notes | Steinberg is credited on Hopalong by Jerry Bails' Who's Who. He is also credited on six covers for the early Hopalong comics. His work has something in common with Pfeufer, as the gunsmoke with hole in the middle and swinging action, but his gun holsters are quite different. On the covers they are much broader than Pfeufer's narrow pointed holsters, and with a rounded flap in the middle. His shirts has pocket flaps, while Pfeufer usually has just a long line across the chest. Also the belt buckle is different from Pfeufer's round ones. |
