June 1937 (from GCD)
George Brenner's Bob Steele Raiders from Space shows a definite Alex Raymond Flash Gordon influence.
Paul Lauretta's Rocky Baird Gold of Destiny shows a definite Roy Crane Wash Tubbs and Captain Easy influence.
I like The Photographer's Delemma but the proportions aren't right for a full page - what was on the back of that page?
Also is the centerfold missing or what?
All in all I like the issue a lot. I always like having the opportunity of getting another scan of a 1930s Comics Magazine Company comic book!
Thanks to the scanner! |
